Prayer for Salvation

  • Believe that Jesus the Son of God came to earth, fully human, born of a virgin, living among us, to die on the cross for you, in your place, as the sacrifice to end all sacrifices, with His blood being poured out for you, and that He was buried and raised from the dead (Romans 10:9).
  • Believe that when you ask Him for His gift of life, that you will be newly created in Him, and you will be cleansed with His blood, and Holy Spirit will instantly give you life, and you will become new creation in Him, a child of God (2 Corinthians 5:7).
  • It is important to verbalize your prayer.  Declare He is the son of God, that He came to earth, born of a virgin, lived among us, to die on the cross for you.
  • Renounce the kingdom of darkness and all agreements and alignments with it.
  • Express that you are a sinner, and ask Him to cleanse you with His blood, and for His gift of salvation, and that you would become a child of God.
  • Verbally submit to the Lordship of King Jesus, thanking Him that you are now His, bought and paid for with His precious blood sacrifice, a child of the Most High God.

When you lead someone to the Lord, remember, that is exactly what you are doing… ‘taking their hand’ and introducing them to Jesus.

Although a covenant, it is a relationship, where the individual will step into Him (John 17:20,22), and begin a relationship with Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Salvation is not avoiding hell, salvation is a Person, and through relationship with that Person, and all He gives us, we experience wholeness spirit, soul and body, and yes, the ability to spend eternity in relationship with God instead of hell.  A living, vital relationship with God is the destination, while living throughout eternity with Him, and not being in hell is a by-product.

Jesus, thank You for loving me so much, that you took my place, becoming sin and dying for me so that I can be free.  I believe you are the Son of God, born of a virgin, died, was buried, resurrected and then ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father.

I am a sinner. I renounce all agreements, contracts, ties and alignments with the kingdom of darkness.  Please cleanse me with Your blood.  Please forgive me of my sins as I submit to You alone, King Jesus, as my Master and Lord. Thank You for Your gift of salvation. Wash me, cleanse me, and receive me now as Your own, bought and paid for with Your blood, and sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you, Jesus, for new life, and a relationship with You, the Father, and Holy Spirit.  I am Yours, a new creation, a vital part of the Kingdom of Almighty God.
