Determine the beginning point/root of the offense or judgement.
If uncertain, ask Holy Spirit to show you. Return to the things He has told you. Is there confusion, anger, or frustration surrounding these words?
- If you have answered yes to any of the above, ask Holy Spirit to walk you through each one, allowing you to see how it impacted you, and what the truth is in each.
- For example, if you experienced confusion and/or anger, did this stem from fear? Did you embrace fear because you questioned if God would come through, because you thought you were not qualified, or because of what others would think?
Have you experienced some level of trauma as you have stepped into what He has said? Trauma can be the result of warfare, both in what we deal with in relationships, and as we navigate circumstances in our day to day lives. Have you judged God as unfaithful as warfare came against your destiny, or because you haven’t seen His hand move on your behalf in the manner you envisioned?
- If you have answered yes, what specifically are you holding Him accountable for?
- Ask the Father to show you where He is in this situation, and what He is saying about it.
- What is YHWH revealing to you? How does this differ from your perspective?
- What specific lies did the adversary feed you, that you embraced, and what is the truth?
Prayer of Repentance:
Father, thank You for Your goodness toward me. Thank You for Your mercy and lovingkindness that pursues to overtake me, lavishing me with your love every day. Thank you for Your faithfulness in my life, that is everlasting.
I come boldly before Your throne in need of You and the finished work of the cross to once again be appropriated in my life.
Please forgive me for taking offense, and for judging You. Who am I, the created to judge You, the creator of all things, the Most High God who rules in mercy, righteously, and justly. Yet I have, and as the loving Father You are, you have brought me into Truth, removing the veils from my eyes to see as You see, and the plugs from my ears to hear You speak to me. Thank You.
I repent for believing _________________. It is a lie. Instead, I choose to embrace and believe __________________. (Do this with each lie, replacing it with the truth).
Lord Jesus, thank You for clinging to the post and allowing Your flesh to be ripped open with the Roman flagrum on my behalf. It is not by coincidence that this is the etymology for the word fillet… this is a picture of the torture you endured. You were humiliated, assaulted, spit upon, verbally abused, and considered worthless by humanity… for me. During these hours you took on my physical, mental, and emotional pain, paying a horrific price for my healing. “Thank you” does not begin to express the worship and reverence You deserve.
You were pierced for my transgressions. You were crushed for my iniquities. The punishment that brought my peace was on You; and by Your wounds I am healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord Jesus,You then went to Calvary, taking on my sin… becoming sin, that I could be made righteous. As the spotless Lamb, You became the final sacrifice, and Your blood even now cleanses me from all sin. I receive the washing of Your blood once again, I embrace Your righteousness, given to me, and healing for my mind, body and emotions. I fully surrender and submit myself to Your Lordship. Thank You for all You are, and all You have provided for me.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7-9).
Prayer to Break Agreements with the Lies and Deception:
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh, I break agreements with the adversary and the afore mentioned lies and deception. I renounce these lies over my destiny, life, mind, will, emotions and body.
Lord Jesus, please cleanse me with Your blood from the effects of these lies, and my willful submission to the demonic realm. I repent, I choose to align myself with Truth, fully submitting to You.
In the name of Jesus, I dismantle, remove, destroy, and render powerless any demons, the lies, and all their devices that have had access to me because I believed these lies. I take authority over every demonic spirit, infiltration and attachment in my life due to these lies, and command you to go to the dry places now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh.
I stand in and covered with the blood of Jesus. I desire to know You, Jesus, and to walk in Truth. Your sheep know Your voice. I choose to walk according to Your Word, and listen for Your voice alone, standing in agreement with Your Word(s) concerning me. Where the devil said, “__________”, I now say, “I _______________”, because that is what YOU say about me and Your Word is absolute truth.
I send the fire of God to structures, platforms and strongholds in my life that are resident due to these lies and destroy them now! I break the power of these lies over every aspect of my life now in the name of Jesus! Every demonic device disintegrates now! in the name of Jesus!
I release the light and bondage breaking power of Your truth, over my life. Who the Son sets free is free indeed, and the truth that I know and walk in will create a domino effect of more truth leading to increasing freedom. I choose Truth today! I choose Life today! I choose to continually give my “Yes” to Him.
As you go forward:
- Continue to recognize any lies, replacing them with truth… His word to you.
- Speak and declare the truth, releasing life over and around you.
- Thanksgiving, praise, worship
- Feed on God’s Word… DAILY
- Pray in the Spirit/tongues/heavenly language as much as possible… not just now, but forever.
