I believe in YHWH… God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. United and one, yet each is distinct, as clearly brought forth in scripture.
I believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is no other way to the Father, but through Him, the power of His blood, and the new creation experience.
I believe Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin. I believe Jesus was made flesh, and was the demonstration to us of the character of the Father (John 14:8-9). He was the spotless Lamb of God, the final sacrifice, that humanity would once and for all be cleansed from sin, free from bondage, brought out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. I believe as new creations we can once again walk in a relationship with YHWH, as those who embrace this finished work, surrender their lives, and submit to Jesus as Lord.
I believe each book in the Bible is Holy Spirit-inspired, yet I know YHWH continues to speak today. Holy Spirit is brings our revelator, unveiling the hidden things, and the depth of God’s love, in which we are to be rooted. Revelation is still pouring out for those who have an ear to hear, receive and walk in Truth.
It is wisdom to apply one’s self to study, and learn all we can from the pages of the Bible for it contains words of life, instruction and correction. Yet in doing so, one goes to Father, Yeshua and Holy Spirit, as they remove personal filters, and ask for revelation, that what one reads would be framed in truth, for it is the truth that one knows and walks in that brings freedom. Jesus left, that Holy Spirit would come, indwell each born again believer, as our comforter, counselor, teacher, so that we could learn further, being taught the things Jesus’s disciples were not yet ready to embrace (John 16:12-15).
Study the Bible, but even more importantly, sit at His feet and study Him. Israel was invited by YHWH into a personal relationship with Him, to see Him, and hear Him, and they chose to have a man stand as a mediator between them and their God. They did not want to see the glory. Without out a personal relationship with Him, without the glory, Israel lacked the fear of the Lord, easily falling into sin, and idolatry. It is no different today.
I believe deliverance, healing, the miraculous, and that all the gifts of Holy Spirit are functioning and flowing today. I believe the new creation experience does not end with the cross. We died, and were resurrected with Him, and now have been invited to ascend and sit in heavenly places with Him. It is our privilege and our inheritance. Yes, salvation is ours, yet we also invited into a life that is filled with and demonstrating that resurrection power and the glory of God. (John 14-17).
I believe in the baptism of Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues is available to every born-again believer.
The “great commission” was added later… it is not in the original texts. Therefore, as a representative of and reflection of YHWH in the earth, I believe that each member of the Body is able to say, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations” (Isaiah 61:1-4, KJV). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and He sent His disciples to heal the sick and cast out demons (Luke 9:1-2). The baton has now been passed to us, for this generation, and those to come.
I believe God set the five-fold ministry in the Body, for the building up and maturing of the believer. Those set in these positions are not meant to take precedence over another’s personal relationship with Elohim, nor what the Father and Holy Spirit are speaking to them. Each believer is to take personal responsibility for their relationship with God, pursuing the level of intimacy they hunger for, and walking in the revelation received. As maturity progresses, children of God grow into sonship, to be taught, counseled and led by Holy Spirit. Through this process we are established in a personal relationship with YHWH. In this relationship we find out who we are, and our unique position within the Kingdom of God, and we are schooled by Holy Spirit, enabling us to take our place in the Body of Christ.
